Sponsor our work

Last updated 16 October 2026

Businesses can support LLJJC PROMO93 and be acknowledged on this site. Sponsorship is open to any business — alumni-owned or not — at the same published rates, and the money funds our programs in Haiti.

Why we charge for this

We are applying to become a public charity, and a charity may not hand its members something it would sell to anyone else. Paying the same rate as any other business is what keeps a listing clean for us and defensible for you. Members are welcome to sponsor; membership simply does not change the price.

What a sponsorship includes

Your business name, logo, city and a short neutral description of what you do, displayed on our supporters page for the term you choose. We will thank you by name in our launch announcement and in the annual summary of the year's work.

What it does not include

We cannot publish prices, special offers, comparative claims, calls to action, or anything that reads as an endorsement. Those turn an acknowledgement into advertising, which a charity has to treat as taxable business income. A listing says who you are and what you do; it does not sell for you, and we will edit anything that crosses that line.

Rates

Supporter $150 a year — name, city and one line. Partner $500 a year — adds your logo and a short description. Program sponsor $2,500 a year — the above, plus acknowledgement on the specific program your gift supports. Rates are the same for every business and are reviewed annually by the board.

How to sponsor

Write to us using the contact form and say which level you want. We will send a short written agreement setting out the term, what will be displayed, and how to pay. Nothing is published until that agreement is signed and payment has cleared.

This is not a tax-deductible donation

Sponsorship buys an acknowledgement, so it is not a charitable gift. Separately, LLJJC PROMO93's application for 501(c)(3) recognition is still pending, so no contribution to us is tax deductible at present. Your accountant may be able to treat sponsorship as a business expense; ask them rather than us.

What we will decline

We will not accept sponsorship from businesses whose work conflicts with our mission or would embarrass the school community, and we may decline for any reason without giving one. Accepting a sponsorship is not an endorsement of the business, its products or its services.

Enquire about sponsorship

Tell us about your business and which level you have in mind. We will reply with a written agreement — nothing is published until it is signed and payment has cleared.

We use these details to reply and to prepare the agreement. The enquiry is emailed to us, not stored on this site.
